Level two

Fluids, Tides & Tissues

The intention of  this level two training is to begin to deepen our understanding and perception of the language of the embryonic and fluid nature of tissue and bone.  We will explore the inherent motility of the tissues structures as they are guided by primary respiration.  The reciprocal tension membrane RTM will be introduced.  The function of the autonomic nervous system, ANS will also be explored in relation to early development and trauma into adulthood.

Practitioner Development:

* Palpation of the fluid tides
* Intraosseous motility of the cranial bones and pelvis and their embryological origin and dynamics
* Reciprocal Tension Membrane (RTM) dynamics of frontal, temporal, parietal, occipital, sacrum and sphenoid bones
*The dynamics and embryological origin of the sphenobasilar junction
* Dynamic Morphology - week one of embryological development
* Opportunity to make use of the art-studio to explore your perceptions visually and gesturally
* Opportunity to spend time outside on the land sensing Primary Respiration with the trees and the plants
* Students can make use of the meditation space throughout the 4-days to rest, ground, deepen and process their experiences
* Lecture on fascia by a leading Rolfer
