The Sacred Yew Institute promotes the development and teaching of new paradigms in the healing arts that foster a return of the mythic, symbolic and spiritual dimensions to the meaning and lived experience of Health, Nature and Origin.

The Sacred Yew Institute honors the Yew Tree as the embryonic Tree of Life.  The Yew is the World Tree Yggdrasil.  Three primordial roots from the tree reach into three worlds - the world of the gods, the world of the giants and the world of the dead -  and each world contains a divine well which nourishes each root.  In Norse mythology humanity originated as the “Hallowed  Seed” of the World Tree.  We are its children, each of us uniquely embodied from three embryonic wells of divine origin.
